Job Role:Structural Design Engineer
Hours:Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 17:00
Salary:£32,000 - £35,000 (negotiated on experience)
Location:Leeds (LS9)
My client is a new division in a well-established, market leading product design and manufacturing business supplying structural building products to the construction industry for over 30 years. The Faades division has recently developed and launched a new innovative brick slip cladding system for use in a range of faade applications, from small scale domestic to high rise residential and commercial as well as offsite, factory based MMC projects.
The Role:
Provide Facade designs through AutoCAD
Working closely with clients to ensure products are delivered on time, on budget and to exacting technical requirements
Undertake and deliver accurate specifications
Focus on the complete faade, offer/calculations
Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of output to defined PI objectives
The successful candidate will form part of a growing technical team and work closely with our on-site production facility and other supporting departments
What do you need?
Construction design experience is essential
CAD / AutoCAD (or similar) experience is essential
Working experience of building regulations requirements relating to Facades inc, Brickslip & Cladding is desirable
A team player who works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve broader business objectives
Self-motivated and quick thinking
Have excellent communication skills
