Argyll and Bute Council is looking to recruit two Graduate / Assistant / Engineers to work within its Infrastructure Design team. These are permanent posts, working 35 hours per week and will be based in Lochgilphead.

You will be supporting the Infrastructure Design Manager and the team of civil engineers and technical staff involved in the design and site supervision of marine projects and roads related infrastructure such as bridges, retaining walls, coastal and flooding protection.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to high quality public services, enjoys working with a variety of technical projects, accurate in their work and able to deliver work to tight timescales.

The salary grading is LGE 9/10/11 (£28,140 - £39,765) depending on qualifications and ICE attributes obtained. The post allows progression from Graduate Engineer through attainment of ICE attributes to Assistant Engineer and to Engineer upon attaining either Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status within ICE.
