We have exciting opportunities for a number of Structural Engineers to join our Structures and Fire Team based in our Belfast office to work on a diverse range of projects across both the Private and Public Sector.

About the Team:
The Structural Engineering Sector within RPS has been responsible for some of the UK and Ireland's most prestigious buildings including the iconic £97m Titanic Belfast Building. We are engaged on many exciting schemes both within the private and public sector and can offer a diverse range of interesting projects for the right person to thrive. The successful candidate will be mentored and given training to achieve Chartered Status and benefit from working in a team of experienced colleagues who will nurture and guide you to achieve the best in your professional career.
Our Northern Ireland Office, situated in Belfast, employs over 200 staff and has been providing services to the UK and Ireland for the past 70 years. We offer a wide range of opportunities, in a dynamic work place, where achievements are rewarded, and progress encouraged. As one of Ireland's leading multidisciplinary consultancies, we are working on many high-profile Planning, Structural and Fire Engineering, Water, Waste, Transport, Project Management and Environment projects and require innovative and motivated staff.
About the Role:
The post will involve working within a team delivering full structural engineering design services on a range of development projects for Commercial and Industrial buildings.
Working with structural technicians to communicate designs into drawings
Designing elements in concrete, steel, timber and masonry
Working with senior staff in in the technical delivery of projects
Mentoring given for all aspects of your job role
Liaison with other members of the Design team and attendance at meetings
Excellent opportunity for career progression
Visiting sites to carry out inspection duties
Preparation of reports as requested
Qualifications and Experience:
MEng / BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with Architecture
Knowledge of Computational Structural Analysis software (Masterseries, Orion, Tedds or similar)
Knowledge of BIM and 3D Modelling Software (Revit) for drawing
Knowledge of UK design codes, Euro codes and specifications
Maintaining your CPD and progress towards Chartership
Willingness to learn
Full UK driving licence
