A leading Civil Engineering and Water Infrastructure Main Contractor are actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within Quantity Surveying with a reputable, growing company that will give you all the tools to further advance up the ladder.Reporting to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager, you will provide commercial support across all business streams concerning financial and contractual matters arising through the management of various contracts.

What youll be doing:
  • Will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing profitability and minimise risk by applying best commercial practice;
  • You will perform cost analysis, seek funding options and prepare final accounts for submission;
  • Prepare accurate monthly CVR forecasting of all projects;
  • Report on forecast outturn cost and value and manage change control;
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external parties.


What youll need to be successful:
  • The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified, with at least an HNC in Quantity Surveying;
  • Experience in water infrastructure, although any civil engineering background will be considered;
  • At least 3+ years post-graduate experience in Quantity Surveying;
  • Previous experience working with NEC3 Conditions of Contract;
  • Highly competent using Microsoft Excel;
  • Confident and comfortable working on projects up to £2m+in value.
