Our client, based in Central Manchester, are looking for a degree qualified Energy Engineers (Mechanical/Electrical/Energy/Renewables) to work on regenerative energy solutions, which may include decarbonisation, heat & cooling networks & decentralised energy.
You will be working for a company that is growing rapidly and opening new offices in Manchester. There are a number of roles available, from graduate to more senior levels, with salaries up to £48,000 per annum for the more senior.
Work will be split between remote and office working and also involve site visits to carry out inspections and surveys.
Applicants must have a keen interest or qualification in sustainable energy solutions, decarbonisation & renewable energy.
*Covering sustainable energy projects in a variety of building environments, including housing, hospitals, churches, universities, community services covering mechanical, electrical and public health disciplines.
*Visit the above sites and carry out assessments based on current energy infrastructure & link to future sustainable energy requirements.
*Interacting with team engagement throughout the project life cycle, including where appropriate with clients, sub-consultants, subcontractors, project partners.
*Observe and contribute to the development of project design criteria, principles, processes and deliverables in collaboration with the project team, both internally and external.
*Liaise with the facilities management (FM) team to support in the development of products and services and transfer operational insights into design best-practice.
*Knowledge of the operation and characteristics of different heating, cooling, and hot water systems.
*Ideally qualified to degree level in mechanical or field linked to sustainable energy.
*Knowledge of Electrical infrastructure which supports building services would be advantageous.
*Experience of surveying existing Mechanical and Electrical systems would be beneficial.
*Experience with AutoCAD and Revit would be advantageous.
*Work with minimal supervision with self- management as well working as part of an integrated team.
*Good communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the design team, clients and stakeholders.
*Good data gathering and report writing skills.
