This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate civil engineer to enhance their career within a highly reputable consultancy, priding themselves on the array of work they have done in the residential market.
The business pride themselves on significant and proven expertise in social Housing, alongside the education, healthcare, commercial and retail sectors. They frequently partner with well established housing associates, and private developers around London. As a result, they hold a long-standing Investors in People ISO9011 accreditation and are now seeking an additional graduate engineer to join their close-knit team and help contribute to their growth.
You will be responsible for assisting the structural engineering team with design and engage in schemes across central London and rural developments. You will be responsible for leading inspection on various infrastructures such as Wheatstone House, Harrow Batch, or Newham Hospital and undertaking testing tasks whilst implementing industry approved codes of practices. You will also liaise with other junior engineers to produce compliant reports and develop stable relationships with client representatives.
You will also ensure that site works are undertaken in a safe manner in line with company procedures and the relevant systems of work put into place for each task, whilst ensuring you are able to work towards deadlines and time manage effectively. You will receive full support and mentoring to receive your chartership status, and work towards core objectives embedded within the process.

Liaising to produce reports

Undertaking various rural or city based schemes
Degree qualified (Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or similar discipline)
Experience in examination/inspection and reporting
Good computer skills (Word / Excel)
Good communication skills
