Principal Civil Engineer - Hemel Hempstead | £50,000-£65,000

Principal Civil Engineer looking to work within a highly motivated and committed team which focuses on the delivery of successful projects? Hoping for hybrid working options to give you the flexibility you need?

We are actively recruiting for a multi-disciplinary property and construction firm, that offers advice throughout all stages of a project. They look to bring creativity to every job no matter the size, with a goal of adding value at every stage. Working on large £20 million schemes and small-scale projects across the UK in multiple different sectors, such as commercial, R&D, energy and residential will make the job very exciting, with no two projects being the same.

The successful Principal Civil Engineer will be joining a strong team in the Didcot office, which has roughly 50 members of staff. There is no ceiling when joining this consultancy, and progression up to Director level is certainly achievable as the company always encourages hiring/promoting from within.

External training courses The successful Principal Civil Engineer will have experience working within a consultancy environment, ideally 7 years +, and you'll be Chartered or working towards Chartership.

Some of the responsibilities and requirements of this Principal Civil Engineer position include:

A Civil Engineering qualification (BEng or Meng)
Expertise in infrastructure, highways, and drainage design to deliver multidisciplinary projects from concept, feasibility, and planning through to detailed design and construction.
Experience dealing with adoption agreements for roads and drainage.
Expert in relevant industry-standard software packages.
Good commercial awareness and experience in managing day-to-day finance and instructions.
Liaise confidently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders. How to apply?
