Senior Structural Engineer/Associate

Dorking

£55k-£60k

Are you an ambitious structural engineer looking for your next step up? Are you looking to progress and further your career in a varied role with an award winning Civil & Structural Design consultancy?

Would Dorking be a good location for you?

This role would suit an engineer with several years of buildings structures design experience in all the main materials, who can run jobs, manage more junior staff, be involved in hands on design, fee bids and managing clients. Ideally you will be Chartered or nearing this status. The practice is a well established company with a high proportion of Chartered Engineers, both MICE and MIStructE. Excellent training for Chartership is offered (if not yet achieved) and you will not just be stuck in a number crunching role!

The company have a down to earth ethos where teamwork is key and designs really get built. Staff turnover is low and career progression is very real. They offer excellent, practical and buildable solutions to their clients. Workload is very varied including bespoke houses for private clients, schools, arts and leisure projects, basements, report and insurance claim work, commercial, retail and healthcare buildings, both new build and refurb. The projects range from £2-10m.

In addition to basic salary there is 25 days holiday, Chartership fees paid, pension and a flexible and friendly work environment. The office is close to the train station and parking is also available.
