We are working with an independent specialist firm of Partner -led Consulting Engineers and Architects based in Central London with an established reputation for providing high quality advice to a wide range of clients. They specialise in investigating construction related problems and advising clients involved in disputes, litigation, arbitration, mediation and adjudication.

Their workload continues to expand and as a result of this success they have an exciting opening for a Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer with at least 6 years' post graduate experience to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will become an integral member of their skilled team and help with their expanding workload on a full-time permanent basis.

Requirements:

A degree in civil or structural engineering,
A Chartered Structural Engineer,
A minimum of 6 years' experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer,
Knowledge of a range of construction methods and materials and an interest in forensic engineering is essential,
Ability to work to deadlines,
Accurate and concise report writing and presenting complex technical information clearly to non-technical parties,
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills,
Ability to work under pressure is essential due to the nature of the role which works to deadlines, typically imposed be the courts.This is a great opportunity for a driven Senior Structural Engineer, who is passionate about design, to gain exposure to a range of fantastic projects and to further enhance their career.
