We are currently recruiting for a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join our client who are a global organisation who are well established within the Renewables, Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors.

This role will be overseeing a major Biorefinery project in North East England however, the position will be based out of their office in Brentford, West London, where you will be responsible for carrying out and supporting the Project Management Contract team for FEED/EPC phases of the project.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting into the UK Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

Directing and supervising a team of Civil/Structural Engineers of FEED contractors
Providing expertise and ensure the application of correct standards in all FEED/EPC deliverables in the design and development of projects associated with Oil & Gas Processing.
Review the day-to-day activities related to civil engineering scope in coordination with other disciplines in the Project Management Contract
Review existing operations through all the project phases, particularly those related to Engineering and project management, assessing strengths and weaknesses
Carry out gap analysis and review progress of the Civil/Structural/MEP works for compliance with the schedule and quality
Attend coordination meetings
Visit the construction site during design phase when needed

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone with the following:

A Degree is a necessity in a relevant subject such as Civil or Structural Engineering, having a Masters or Chartership will be desired
Extensive experience working on large scale projects such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, refineries, Power Generations, etc
Experience working on brownfield projects at FEED/EPC phases
Ability liaise with different stakeholders
