Are you an experienced Structural Engineer, educated to Masters level?
Would you be interested in getting involved in some interesting, and high profile, and potentially award-winning projects?
Can you demonstrate your expertise in design engineering for superstructures, either steel or concrete frame?

We have a new opportunity for a Structural Engineer, who has proven experience in working with building structures, particularly steel, concrete or hybrid frame, for a specialist supplier of innovative building systems.

The job will involve:
Producing structural designs (member and panel sizing in addition to connection designs), involved in both live projects and at tender stage
Working on sketches and marked up drawings to ensure clarity of design intent
Producing detailed calculations
Attending meetings with key stakeholders (eg Main Contractors, Consulting Engineers, Architects and Clients)
Working closely with your internal colleagues, including giving advice to the Contracts, Estimating and Commercial departments

You will need to have:
Good academic record, educated to MEng or MSc level, and either Chartered or working towards Chartered status with ICE or IStructE
Excellent working knowledge of design codes (both British Standards and Eurocodes) and if you have worked to EC-5 this would be highly desirable
Proven experience in engineering design of superstructures, in either steel or concrete frame
Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office suite) and experience in using structural design software
