Assistant Electrical Engineer - Exeter

My client, one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary consultancies, is looking for an Assistant Electrical Engineer to join their team in Exeter! They have been established for more than eight decades and have worked on projects such as the London Olympics and Dubai Metro! My client has assisted in developing sustainable cities worldwide and offers specialist services in planning, architecture, and project management. You will be working with a brilliant team of engineers, technicians, and other industry professionals within both private and public sectors to support expansion within the business of strategic highways and transport markets - constantly reimagining what is already there to improve the current environment!

Responsibilities:
  • You will be working with all Electrical Building Services systems (power, earthing, lighting life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts and lighting production).
  • You will carry out the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software.
  • You will collaborate with the BIM Team to prepare models and drawings.
  • You will carry out site surveys, inspections and monitor site works.

Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience within the Commercial, Residential, Education or Rail Sectors.
  • A good knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
