An opportunity has come about for an Associate Director level Structural Engineer to join an expanding Building Structures team in the North East.

In this role you will have the opportunity to lead innovative sustainable design projects for a huge range of challenging projects, ranging from major power / energy projects (renewables, grid network and nuclear) to large scale industrial, manufacturing and logistics projects, to primary rail station design, education, healthcare, residential, retail and defence sector projects.

You will take a lead role in their multi - disciplinary design projects, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, project managers, cost consultants and specialist sub - consultants. You will act in a direct support role to Technical Directors and Directors in terms of the business growth of the office.

You will be a Chartered Engineer and able to demonstrate relevant post qualification experience through a range of projects. You will provide technical leadership of project delivery with robust planning and controls, which are effectively communicated to, and understood by the project team and will be capable of running large projects, frameworks, or significant section of a large or technical complex project. You should be able to manage and support the junior members of the team and have the ability to build strong client relationships leading to long term repeat work is something you should possess.
