Structural Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Structural Engineer to join their market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy. Our client specialises in the high-quality delivery of a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role include:

Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion

Attend site projects and design team meetings as required

Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients

Lead projects independently on a range of contracts

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers

Carry out detailed design and analysis on a range of projects

Aid the development of more junior team members

Assist with bid proposals

To be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:

Have a minimum qualification: BEng/BSc Civil/Structural Engineering

Hold a Membership of the ICE or IstructE

Possess at minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy

Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry

Be experienced in the use of Tedds and AutoCAD

Think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges

Have a clean driving licence and use of car

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
