Are you an experienced Graduate Civil Engineer that is ready to drop the 'Graduate' title and move closer to working autonomously and having more input on projects?
Our client based in central Belfast is looking for ambitious and confident engineers with 3+ years consultancy experience within an infrastructure team in either the UK or Ireland to join an award-winning team.
You will be encouraged to share your technical knowledge on all projects allowing you demonstrate your engineering flare whilst you learn from senior team members and take full advantage of their excellent in-house ICE accredited programme.
You will join a team of experienced engineers within the Public Health sector working specifically on water and wastewater designs for both domestic and mainland UK clients.
Although, you will be at the heart of multimillion-pound projects you will also have the freedom to work on smaller, bespoke projects for individual build and small residential schemes for smaller clients.
CIVIL ENGINEER REPONSIBILITIES
Designing water treatment plans (refurbishments and new builds) according to design standards
Evaluation of water sites and assessment of the works to be carried out
Site visits accompanied by experienced engineers
CIVIL ENGINEER PROFILE
Career progression is at the core of our client's ethos, they will fully support various professional memberships and fund the progression to becoming a Chartered Engineer.
Therefore, the ideal Civil Engineer will be enthusiastic about great engineering, dedicated to CPD as well as having a can-do attitude.
In addition to the above, the Civil Engineer will have/be:
A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
3-5 years' experience in a similar role i.e. consultancy working on water/wastewater design
Comfortable with AutoCAD
Working knowledge of Drainage, SUDs etc
