Location: Scunthorpe
Working hours: a two week rotating days Monday to Friday shift pattern, week one 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday, week two 7.00am to 3.30pm
My client is a market leading factory built and bespoke kitchen manufacturer, that prides themselves on the best products at the best value.
They are seeking to recruit a skilled and experienced Water Engineer to join their engineering team at their specialist quartz division of their business.
THE ROLE:
The primary role of the Water Engineer is to ensure that the water engineering sector of the plant is kept running safely and efficiently during production shifts and maintained and serviced as required whilst following risk assessments and safe working procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
Daily maintenance and a variety of pumps motors and gearboxes
Monitoring water treatment chemicals
General maintenance around site
Weekly fire alarm and sprinkler system inspections and testing
The role is a working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern, working a rotating shift pattern, 1 week 6.00am to 2.30pm and week 2, 7.00am to 3.30pm.
Overtime is expected when required over weekends. The company is undergoing expansion in all areas and there are great opportunities to progress within.
THE CANDIDATE:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering
