Civil Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. You will be part of one of the largest Engineering consultancies in the UK, within their Transport and Infrastructure team.

What you will be doing

Working on challenging and multiple projects simultaneously, you will be undertaking preliminary and detailed designs of roads, levels, drainage, and external works in both the public (adoptable) and private realm.
You will be providing technical support activities on more than one project, as determined by the team leader / other senior members of the team.
An engineer is required to work with limited support and supervision.
Take responsibility for more junior members of the team, and their development.

What you will bring

Technical experience within the field of engineering design, covering several aspects of highways, levels, drainage and external works.
Ability to use AutoCAD, Civil3D, PDS and MicroDrainage.
Understand the multidisciplinary nature of projects.
Experience liaising with internal and external bodies.
Commercial awareness within your field of expertise.
A self-starter, with drive, positivity and enthusiasm and a strong desire to succeed.
