We're looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join an established design engineering company in the Greater Manchester area on a 3-6 months' contract (Outside IR35).
What does the job involve?
* Working within a small multi-discipline team, providing expert input for civil/structural requirements.
* Design of industrial portal frame buildings.
* Slab/bund design for tank farms and outdoor process plant.
* Assessment of existing buildings/structures.
* Design of support structures for process plant, pipe bridge, access platforms etc.
* Specifying requirements for site surveys.
* Manage civil/structural designers and engineers.
* Estimate manhours for new works to support proposal/sales team.
What skills and experience do you need?
* Chartered Engineer.
* 15+ years relevant experience.
* Experience in chemical and pharmaceutical industrial sector.
* Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously, projects may vary from large green/brown field projects to smaller ‘cut and carve' projects.
What are the pay and benefits?
* £42-£45 per hour Ltd Company (Outside IR35)
