Civil Engineer - to £55,000 per annum,plus car or allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare

Our client, a successful major developer has a longstanding reputation for high quality work. They are looking for a civil engineer with design experience gained within civil engineering consultancy. As a member of their in-house technical team your role will include providing front-end advice on roads and drainage feasibility, design, co-ordination and carry out site monitoring. Your line manager, a chartered civil engineer will provide support, guidance, and additional mentorship if you are working towards ICE chartership or incorporation. The position offers experience in the development side of the business that is as varied as it is interesting. You will work closely with their land development team to advise on the suitability of new sites and co-ordinate designs with in-house architects. There will be liaison with utilities and local authorities and regular site visits.
Your Profile: You should be a degree or HND qualified (or equivalent) civil engineer with three or more years roads or drainage design experience. This should ideally include some exposure to securing technical agreements for highways or drainage design and knowledge of AutoCAD and industry standard design software. A current UK driving license is essential, an expensed company will be provided if required.
The position would ideally suit a civil engineer with a consulting engineering background looking to broaden their career potential.
