Senior Civil Engineer / Flood Risk Management (FRM) Engineer

Superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer / Flood Risk Management (FRM) Engineer to join Aleon. Youll be working with our team in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire to develop and deliver flood alleviation projects in the area.

The Role Senior Civil Engineer / Flood Risk Management (FRM) Engineer

Being fully conversant with the NEC3 suite of contracts, you will produce contract documents and manage contracts under these conditions. Other duties will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing the design and delivery of flood alleviation projects at sites within the East Riding of Yorkshire
• Coordinating design teams
• Developing and maintaining project programmes
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress and finances
• Communicating with various stakeholders, including statutory bodies and members of the public

• Pay rate of up to £29 per hour (equivalent to a salary of £55,796), with the level dependent on experience and qualifications
• Permanent contract, working circa 37 hours per week

Our Requirements Senior Civil Engineer / Flood Risk Management (FRM) Engineer

• Experience managing the delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility stage to construction
• Working knowledge of NEC3 PSC and ECC suites for the project management of design consultants and contractors
• Experience compiling NEC3 contract documents
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own means of private transport for visiting sites within the East Riding of Yorkshire
• Eligibility to work in the UK

Although not essential, experience with Flood Risk Management / Drainage schemes with knowledge of drainage design, planning processes and sewers for adoption would be highly desirable, as would an understanding of the Flood and Water Management Act (2010), and knowledge of the Reservoirs Act (1975).
