Design Engineer - Energy Sector

My client are an established international provider of industrial renewable energy installations. Due to increasing demand, they are seeking to expand their design and development team with an Energy Engineer. The ideal candidate will be experienced with the design of industrial renewable solutions and be qualified in mechanical or electrical related disciplines. You must also be based within commutable distance of London or Guildford.

Energy Engineer Position Overview

• Producing conceptual designs in accordance with customer requirements
• Preparing equipment lists
• Developing savings calculations
• Providing technical support to colleagues implementing the project
• Providing contractors with technical scope of works
• Travelling to customer sites to ensure projects are feasible
• Supporting the commissioning team with commissioning plans, installation protocols and validation of plant performance

Energy Engineer Position Requirements

• Experienced with design and development within the renewables sector
• Qualified in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering
• Ability to demonstrate a technical understanding of industrial energy
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Based within commutable distance of London or Guildford

Energy Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary £40,000 - £60,000 DOE
• 40 hours per week
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• Pension
