Gerrell & Hard are proud to be supporting Indra to recruit a Senior Systems Engineer to join their fast growing team. The Systems Engineer will work within the Systems team, across both design, verification and validation activities to deliver the next generation of Indra products and services. The role will involve eliciting customer and business requirements, architecting and designing systems to satisfy these requirements, and verifying the system as built achieves the design intent. This is a varied role, in a fast-growing business with fantastic potential for personal growth and utilizing a broad range of skills.
Operate across disciplines with knowledge of Electronics, Electrical, Test and Compliance embedded software, IoT and product design engineering.Operate as a system architect for small and large, simple and complex projects.Provide input pre-project in supporting commercial discussions and early stage solution developmentDecipher standards and ensure early stage/architectural product compliance.Work with the delivery team throughout the development lifecycle to provide support where required, ensuring the solution is both verified and validPerform other reasonable tasks in line with business requirementsKEY COMPETENCIES
QualificationsDegree-qualified (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline, with circa 4+ years related engineering experience with cross discipline projects.
Essential Skills;
Experience in the following technical areas:Product designSchematic designElectrical architectural modelsProduct regulatory compliance standards.Process skills related to coordinating and documenting technical documents.Demonstrable understanding of high technology product developmentAbility to think outside of the box to implement innovative and effective solutionsGood interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision.A proven track record of delivering technical solutions within challenging timescales.Knowledge of operating within an ISO 9001 quality system.
Desirable SkillsPassion for sustainabilityUnderstanding of electric vehicle conductive charging systems and related standards.
