Senior Civil Engineer

Then keep reading!We have worked with this Plymouth based company for many years, and we are sourcing a Senior Civil Engineer to help run their Civil Infrastructure department.CompanySaid company are a Scottish engineering consultancy business (although a lot of their offices are in England), they have over 550 staff covering wide ranges of disciplines throughout the United Kingdom. They have been running since 1902, with 18 locations in the UK. They provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering design, for commercial, residential and retail projects.Currently the majority of the Plymouth offices work is based outside of the South West, and they would like to be acquire more local work. The Plymouth office is only 6 strong at the moment, and looking to grow as they are growing more in the South West.Current ProjectsThe company works on mainly Retail and Commercial projects, such as London Underground sub-surface track works, a multi-ten million distribution centre for a major top 4 Supermarket, an 11,000 square metre business park with a two story car park that can hols hundreds of vehicles. The multidiscipline construction of a Higher-class Brand Supermarket.Jobs and Responsibilities In this role you will need to be able to:

• Manage Projects
• Draw and design a plethora of different and niche builds such as a Jetty for 40,0000 ton vessels
• Liaising with Customers and Clients throughout the UK
• Calculating and drawing external hard standing builds
• Knowing adoptions agreements such as s38s and 278s

QualificationsYou will need to be a Graduate with experience in the workplace, more experience the better.You will also need to be fluent in:

• Civils3D
• Microdrainage
• AutoCAD
• PDS Software
