Civil Design Engineer - Drainage
First People Solutions is working with a successful Consulting Engineer in Glasgow who is looking for experienced Civil Design Engineers to join their growing drainage team. Our client is a well-established consultancy, with years of experience delivering quality service and has a clear vision for design & engineering innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the feasibility and pre-planning assessments of engineering infrastructure
Assist in the design of drainage for access roads, residential and commercial development schemes
Ensure documents, designs and drawings are consistently high in quality and compliance with design standards, industry best practice, and client expectations
Assist in the communication with clients, regulators and other stakeholders, and preparation of bids and proposals
Attendance at design meetings
Work alongside engineering teams and associated consulting engineers
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering
3 years post qualification experience
Good working knowledge and experience in Drainage design engineering - Flood Risk, SuDS, etc
Experienced working on residential and commercial projects is desirable but would consider experience working on drainage for highways schemes
Skilled in Microdrainage and Civil 3D
Full clean driving license
