Senior / Principal Structural Engineer

Faststream Recruitment are working with an international Engineering consultancy who specialize in the design of Cryogenic Storage tanks.

Our client is looking for both an Engineer and Principal Engineer to join their growing team due to the projected increase in workload going forwards. Candidates will be focused on the analysis and design of steel and concrete tanks together with the associated Mechanical and Civil elements. Previous experience of tanks design for LNG or LPG projects would be an advantage as would the knowledge and use of FEA software such as ANSYS, STAAD and CAESER II. Knowledge of API620 and EN14620 is also useful.

For the Principal level role, candidates should ideally be Chartered and have a strong background in tank design projects. Candidates will be working for an international business with a strong history in the design of tanks for some key projects including work in Europe, India and and China
