An employee-owned Engineering Consultancy that offers a friendly, easy going and sociable working environment is looking to recruit a Civil Engineer for their Rail team.
This is a hybrid position, meaning you can work from home and the office. Always go in on a Thursday - you don't want to miss the weekly social!
You'll contribute to projects located across the world; Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. You'll broaden your experience via working on a combination of feasibility, concept and detailed design projects.
What will you be doing?
You'll primarily be helping with the technical aspects of projects, mainly in the development of civil and structural scope in Rail projects such as drainage, UTXs and platforms.
Working in a smaller team will give you more responsibility. Your ideas will be listened to. You'll contribute to work winning.
Responsibilities will include:
Civil and structural design and verification for Rail projects
Coordination with other design team members.
Ensure all requirements including specifications and standards are integrated into the project.
Ensure quality controls processes are being followed.
Contribute to design coordination meetings and assist with addressing critical issues that impact other disciplines.
Production of deliverables to programme timescales.
Salary would be around the 40,000 mark and there is a really generous benefits package on offer including a private medical, life assurance and a generous holiday purchase policy - up to 4 weeks a year!
