Job Details

Siefert Associates, LLC is seeking a Junior to Senior level Civil Engineering Intern (or Co-Op student); Full or Part Time.  Intern will work on challenging Construction Projects, Assisting Project Engineers with Calculations of all types, assisting with Drafting Preliminary and Final Plans.

Be willing to learn additional aspects of the projects relating to Bridge Design and the Construction Industry; job includes general engineering tasks, i.e., preliminary calculations, and preparation of engineered drawings, along with performing some administrative duties. Project sites are mainly throughout CT and metropolitan NY and NJ.

Intern must be a self-motivated Civil Engineer student; proficiency with AutoCAD and RISA, or similar structural design software preferred; previous construction experience in any capacity would be helpful.

 

Qualifications:

Very good verbal and written communication skills; flexible, well organized, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills.  You will work with a team of competent professionals who will help provide the training and mentoring needed to grow professionally and into opportunities that Siefert Associates, LLC can offer.
