Our client is a privately owned, award winning environmental contractor and consultancy who has over 20 years proven experience in providing specialist advice and undertaking quality site investigations and remediation projects. Operating across the UK with regional offices in the North West, The Midlands and the South East, our client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, retailers, government departments, and land and property owners.

About the opportunity:
Due to continued company growth and a healthy order book, our client is recruiting for a driven Geo-Environmental Engineer / Scientist to provide support and project management to remediation contracting works, Phase II site investigations and support commercial proposals.
The opportunity will involve both office and site working (50/50 split) although there is flexibility to also work from home when carrying out non-site related work.
About the requirements:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in a relevant subject (Geology, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering) and hold 5 years post graduate geo-environmental / geotechnical experience which should have been gained whilst working for an environmental consultancy or remediation contractor in the UK. Furthermore, you will be experienced in Phase I/II geo-environmental assessments, competent in geotechnical assessments for outlining foundation advice and be comfortable in working on site and supervising contractors.
Due to the remit of the opportunity, it is essential you hold a full UK driving license.
About the benefits and rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, we are targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £30,000 to £35,000 per annum, however specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer which includes a company vehicle, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, private healthcare and enrolment on to their pension scheme.
