Principal Civil Engineer required for my client in their Oxfordshire office. The Principal Civil Engineer is required to work for a consultancy which operate within the Civil and Structural Engineering sector as well as the Geotechnical and Infrastructure.
The Ideal Principal Civil Engineer will be degree qualified in a course within a Civil Engineering discipline as well as having at least 6 years PGE in the UK and Chartered or near chartered. The Principal Civil Engineer will have extensive construction industry experience as well as knowledge of dealing with adoption for roads and drainage. It is envisaged that the successful Civil Engineer will be proficient in AutoCAD and Micro Drainage software's and knowledge of Flood Risk Assessments and geotechnical aspects involved within Drainage.

Principal Civil Engineer Position Overview
- Prepare and review analysis & design calculations
- Preparation of technical and pre-planning reports
- Liaise with clients, project team members & local authorities
- Site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application planning advice
- Production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments and Phase 1 Geo-Environmental Appraisals
- Attend site and design team meetings
Principal Civil Engineer Position Requirements
- BEng degree in a Civil Engineering discipline
- 6+ years' experience within a UK consultancy
- Experience in AutoCAD & Micro Drainage
- Commercial awareness
- UK Driving Licence
