We are in search of an aspiring Civil Engineer to join our team based in Derbyshire. My client offers opportunities in civil, structural, geo-environmental, traffic and transport services to clients nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a hardworking company, offering great opportunities to build your skills in the industry.
Requirements:
Degree level Engineer with knowledge and experience within the infrastructure/highways industry.
Experience Liaising with clients, local authority and engineers.
The skills to successfully train aspiring junior staff members.
Knowledge and experience of WinDes and ideally Civils 3D is preferred.
Numeracy/general mathematics skills are essential.
Knowledge of complex S278 design is desirable.
Understanding of common highway and drainage sector agreements (S38, S278, S104, S185).
Project experience is desirable.
Duties
Project management.
Creating high level engineering reports.
Comply with H&S standards
