We are in search of a knowledgeable associate structural engineer with experience within the defence market to join out diverse team based in Glasgow. My client offers the unique opportunity to work on an exciting range of projects within a significant defence framework. Requirements:
Degree-Qualified Civil/Structural Engineer.
Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer.
Experience in Structural engineering on defence projects.
Experience and knowledge of common structural materials, foundation design, structural analysis and construction delivery.
Detailed knowledge and experience of 2D & 3D analytical packages such as, but not limited to, Robot, Tekla and Tedds.
Knowledge and understanding of site buildability.
Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
Effectively manage technically excellent design projects on time.
Understanding of the consultancy business.
Ability to develop cost-effective solutions to clients.
Driving licence - (desirable).
Duties:
Client and stakeholder interfacing.
Technical and commercial responsibility for structural engineering design delivery.
Undertaking calculations and all associated design documentation.
Assisting with technical development.
