Wind Turbine Gamesa Authorising Engineer
Location: Livingston, Scotland
Salary: Up to £45,000, Depending on Experience
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, with on call cover
Overview:
Hardman Grey Recruitment is currently seeking a Wind Turbine Gamesa Authorising Engineer on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will be working to the highest technical and safety standards.
The successful Wind Turbine Gamesa Authorising Engineer will be responsible for:
Preparing, coordinating and completing relevant paperwork
Creating relevant paperwork under Wind Turbine Safety Rules and be part of a dedicated team providing support and advice
Deliver support to all field technicians including being part of the authorisation panels
Working closely with the supervisor or managers to coordinate second and third level support tasks on site
Fulfilling project requirements with respect to programme, specification and health and safety
Analysing fault trends and suggesting and preparing retrofit programmes
Fault finding and supporting complex repair processes with the technical lead and other support resources
Creating safety documentation such as AWP's and RAMS
Conducting assessment of technicians through onsite evaluations
Delivering basic hydraulic or electrical training courses
Covering second line support
Participating in the on call rota for the engineering department
Ideally the Wind Turbine Gamesa Authorising Engineer will have;
Recent experience of working as a Authorising Engineer in Gamesa
At least 3 years experience of Gamesa technical product experience
A higher education qualification or Bachelors degree in engineering
Good knowledge of system design expanding technical knowledge
In depth understanding of WTSR
Strong knowledge of health and safety and awareness
Strong communication skills
