Excellent role on offer for a Principal or Chief Geotechnical Engineer to get involved technically and grow with a highly reputable geotechnical and drilling company who is working at the forefront of the industry and is looking for a motivated and experienced candidate to join the team.

Are you a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineer? Have you got high amounts of experience in site investigations as well as both factual and interpretive report writing? Are you Looking to demonstrate both your technical and mentorship abilities?

The company are a geotechnical firm based in Scotland who provide a full and diverse range of geotechnical and site services. From sonic drilling, site investigations, water wells as well as laboratory work and with a large amount of clients, the variety in the role and the chance to have hands on responsibility is immense. The team is full of the most motivated and skilled Engineers in the country and they work on major framework contracts with huge clients like Scottish Water, Scottish Power Networks and Scottish & Southern Energy.

In this role you will be based in their head office in the Glasgow area. You will be doing a variety of roles from being the lead in the factual and interpretive reporting, overseeing the design of the complex site investigation sites and mentoring junior staff. You will need to be experienced with a civil engineering educational background, have excellent knowledge of report writing and be keen to develop the company.

This fantastic opportunity would therefore ideally suit a very experienced Principal Engineer with 15+ years of experience on a wide variety of projects. The successful candidate will be highly knowledgeable and driven to complete projects to a high standard and be happy to mentor less experienced staff.
