An exciting new opportunity has come up working with one of the leading design, engineering, and project-management consultants in the UK. They are currently looking to appoint a new Principal Energy Engineer. The organisation is focused on working towards a sustainable future through the creation of Net Zero Carbon designs. You have the opportunity to join this forward- thinking team, involved with delivering energy efficient engineering design solutions to clients across the UK.
As Principal Energy Engineer you will join a fantastic organisation who support flexible working and equal opportunities, where the focus is on developing staff to realise their full potential to exceed customer expectations. Fast track opportunities are available for ambitious individuals.
You will:
Lead, manage and mentor large, diverse teams on energy building design projects, including remote and local based work.
Represent the organisation to work with global partners, including advice to clients about Net Zero strategies.
Ability to combine client-facing responsibilities with taking a lead on a day-to-day project management roles.
Contribute to the growth of the digital practice of the organisation. To be successful within this role you will need…
Knowledge of industry technical standards, including in IES and NBS.
Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
Demonstrable experience of project management including acting on own initiative, proactive working, and the ability to make decisions.
