Location:
West Midlands - Local areas to this position include Wolverhampton, Telford, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Stone, Market Drayton, Walsall and other local areas in the Midlands.

The Role:
This is without doubt a "once in a career" permanent job opportunity working for one of the UK's leading manufacturing organisations.

As the Energy Efficiency Engineering Specialist your primary focus will be to manage site energy consumption and deliver energy efficiency, sustainability and inefficient plant replacement projects across the M & E building services, facilities management systems and manufacturing systems.

Key areas for your attention will be;

> Identifying energy intensive/inefficient plant and operations.

> Research available and emerging technologies, evaluation, technical trial, implementation and confirmation of effect.

> Devising and leading carbon reduction heating (HVAC) system improvements across the site

> Renewable energy generation and energy storage systems to work in line with site requirements.

This really is a rare, challenging and highly rewarding position where you will lead sustainability, environmental engineering and energy efficiency projects across a busy commercial / industrial site.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be rewarded with an excellent package and all the benefits that can be expected from one the UK's best manufacturing employers.

Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in building services, HVAC, facilities management systems and M & E maintenance who has experience looking at energy efficiencies in a similar way to that explained above.

You will ideally be 18th Edition qualified or electrically biased but with good awareness of HVAC systems at commercial sites.

Any experience with 3 phase systems / drives / high power distribution would be advantageous but is not essential.

Living in the West Midlands, you will have excellent site maintenance experience and ideally have worked at a manufacturing site in a previous or current capacity.

If you have this experience and are looking for a permanent job that offers excellent earnings, stability, career growth and a "once in a career" opportunity to make a real mark at a world renowned manufacturing group, apply now for an immediate interview.
