Civil Engineer

As a Civil Engineer based in central Edinburgh you will be exposed to a wide range of building infrastructure projects across a variety of industries with our client, a global scale engineering consultancy.

Due to significant project wins in the healthcare, biotech, defence, correctional, rail, industrial, commercial, and food & beverage industries, our client is expanding their modern Edinburgh office.

You will prepare Civil infrastructural designs, attend site visits, lead projects (on occasion), and assist junior engineers.

All the above can be done while working from home 2/3 days a week, providing you with flexibility

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS

Collaborate with clients to ensure the best engineering solutions are provided.
Create, implement, and track reporting and scheduling programmes.
Attend site inspections and project status meetings
Demonstrate expertise in civil engineer scheme analysis and design
Provide junior engineers with instruction, support, and advice.

CIVIL ENGINEER PROFILE

Chartered or near chartered level
Experience with several design products, such as AutoCAD, Civils3d, WinDes, Micro drainage
3+ years' experience in a similar design consultancy
