Civil 3D Highway Engineer

Candidates should have the following :

Competent in preparation of highway design and contract document 3D models and drawings .
Civil 3D v2019 proficient
AutoCAD proficient v2019
Can demonstrate they can build Highways , drainage and utility models in Civil 3D
Successful candidate will be able to plan and organise their own workload working on their own initiative with minimal supervision. They will initially provided support and guidance to those allocated the ongoing Civil 3D 2019/20 training programme of Engineers and Technicians. candidate will support two major scheme teams for on projects valued £30m to £80m .se projects could be for new bypasses, bus priority corridors, trunk road interchanges or minor changes in alignment to the existing highway networkThe work could involve:

Geometric Design - use of specialist infrastructure design software to produce 3D design models for use by the design team to produce drawings , schedules and estimates.
Drawing Production - producing drawings with embedded data and associated schedules to support Engineers preparing contract documents.
Site Support - to liaise with Engineers and Contractors building the projects to support geometric change when unforeseen issues arise on site requiring the design modification.
Reports - writing and/or contributing to reports issued to customers/stakeholders
