This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join one of the leading multi-disciplinary practices in the Yorkshire and Humber regions.
Are you chartered engineer or working towards chartership? Are you looking to join a company where you can progress and have a long, successful career?
The company hold a nationwide presence and are multi-disciplinary specialists. They have built a reputation for offering tailored services to accommodate for clients specific needs. Due to a period of incredibly high growth the company is now at a point where they are having to turn jobs away as they have that much work on. They are now looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to help with the additional workload and allow for sustained growth.
In this role you will be an integral member of the company and carry out work on Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments. You will be based at the company's office in York with work split 50/50 carried out between office and various sites across the country. As a crucial member of the department you will be responsible for a mixture of inspections/assessments, writing reports, meeting with clients, local authorities and contractors & sometimes be expected to work from height and within derelict buildings.
This is an exciting opportunity therefore would suit an ambitious and experienced Structural Engineer who is looking to join a growing organisation. You will be instrumental in continuing to deliver high levels of success for the business.
The Role:
*Carry out structural surveys sometimes at height and in derelict buildings
*Write in depth reports on your findings
*Engage with the other departments of the company
*Travel required around the country to various sites
The Person:
*Chartered or working towards chartership
*Ability to engage with clients and other construction professionals
*Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
*Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
