Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an established an professional Water Treatment Consultancy, who provide the full range of water treatment, legionella and Water Hygiene Services to clients throughout the UK. Our client is currently recruiting for experience Water Treatment Engineer / Remedial Plumber to cover a mixed portfolio of contracts across the London / South East region.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a water hygiene operative, service engineer or plumbing role within a water treatment or legionella company. The successful will hold experience carrying out legionella compliance tasks, alongside remedial plumbing duties and will have a good working knowledge of ACOP L8, HTM 03-01 and HSG274 guidelines.
This is a home-based role and consideration will be given to candidates based within the Southern and Home Counties, who have good access to London / M25 region.
Key Duties:
'Carrying out remedial plumbing duties following legionella risk assessments.
'installation and removal of water tanks.
'Servicing and installation of TMVs.
'Dead leg removals.
'Undertaking temperature monitoring and sampling on cold water storage tanks.
'TMV Fail Safe Testing & Servicing.
'Flushing of outlets.
'Tank inspections / Surveys.
'Closed System analysis and dosing.
'Showerhead and Calorifier descales.
'Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers
