CMT Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide engineering and consulting services for projects serving residential, commercial, and government clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. Daily tasks may include performing or managing field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations. As well as the writing, preparation, and review of detailed reports for the services provided. Attend preconstruction meetings. Review of drawings and technical documents to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals and cost estimates. Monitor and evaluate project progress, budget, and recommend changes as needed. Communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to both technical and non-technical clients and project team members.

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license. – Required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Masters preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience and knowledge in construction materials testing procedures including: concrete, soil, structural steel, flexible and rigid pavements is a plus.
