Graduate Structural Engineer
Chesterfield
Salary: Up to £26,000
An established engineering consultancy based in Chesterfield are on the lookout for an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The company is a small, close-knit team with 2 chartered engineers, so you will be working as part of a very talented team, where you will get excellent training and mentoring.
They focus predominately on working with residential housing developers to deliver the foundation and superstructure designs for house types, low rise apartments and any other structural elements on site like RC headwalls, pumping stations, slabs and carports.
Work ranges from the design and detail of foundation solutions, trenchfill foundations, RC piles and ground beams, rafts and reinforced strip footings to vibratory ground improvement.
They also undertake inspection works of foundation construction or remedial issues with domestic housing - both new and existing.

- Degree qualified in civil and or structural engineering
- Ideally you will have some experience, although not essential
- Good working knowledge of CAD, Excel, and ideally Tedds and Masterseries
- Strong communication skills
- A passion for working on residential projects
- Great team player, happy to get stuck-in and work as part of a small team
