Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

I am looking to speak with a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in Milton Keynes with between 0-2 years' experience looking to join a dynamic geotechnical design consultancy.

The client is a small Geotechnical design firm looking to expand within the UK and are already a well-respected internationally. This will provide a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer with exposure to both small and large-scale projects locally in the UK and internationally across Africa.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be required to assist with analysis and design of slopes, water retaining structures, retaining walls, earth works and foundations. Evaluating site conditions to optimize decision and design requirements as well as writing geotechnical interpretive reports, geotechnical design reports and earthworks specifications. You will also be carrying out risk assessments and undertaking preliminary phase 1 desk studies.

As a graduate Geotechnical Engineer you are required to have a BEng/BSc Eng in civil engineering, Engineering geology or Geology with a geotechnical bias. You must be flexible to travel and work away from the office and a full clean UK driving license is also required.
