STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £30-£40K
The Opportunity
Our clients are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their busy office in Sevenoaks in a full-time role. They are a structural and civil engineering consultancy and currently have 46 staff and are one of the largest practices in the County, with a large portfolio of Clients and exciting projects.
Main Responsibilities
As a member of the regional multi-disciplinary design team, an Engineer plays a role in the delivery of technical solutions, acting in support of the Team Principal. This position will be responsible for:
Production of designs and specifications on a variety of projects using a range of software including Tekla Structural Designer, and TEDDS
Production of structural design calculation packages
The delivery of technical outputs of projects and the seamless sharing of information with other discipline teams
Ensuring the technical quality of design solutions they have developed, through implementation of best practice and continuous improvement processesHere's What You'll Need:
UK post graduate structural design office experience.
Design experience in the usual building materials, steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
Ability to prepare hand calculations and use computer software. Experience with Tekla structural designer or similar software would be an advantage.
