Our client's Group of companies, install and maintain intelligent building systems that allow our clients to keep the people that rely on them safe from harm and secure their businesses future. Working across our three core service; Fire & Life Safety systems, Security systems, Building Energy Management systems. Due to the rapid rate at Which Marlowe Fire & Security Group, and all of its affiliated brands are growing, we have an additional requirement at ACL for an experienced BEMS Service Engineer to join our team, to work for a range of clients. The candidate would work with one of our existing teams in the area and look after several prestigious large-scale commercial sites, within Healthcare, Leisure, Stadia and Education sectors.
The Opportunity
As a BMS Service Engineer you will have a solid electrical background, ideally a qualified electrician and a good understanding and knowledge of HVAC plant. Industry related training which should include Trend or Centraline and Tridium courses as a minimum would be beneficial for this role. To be confident in front of customers and deal with any issues highlighted in a professional manner.
* Day-to-day tasks will include the following.
* Carrying out contracted PPM visits on customer sites.
* Highlighting any follow up works that require a quotation.
* Attending Monthly meetings with the client along with the Service Manager
* Identifying and resolving BMS faults raised by the client in a timely manner.
* Identifying any enhancements to the BMS to improve the system.
* Assisting with project works on customers sites.
Key Relationships
The post holder will be responsible for a select list of key accounts and so will be able to acquire detailed site knowledge and will be provided with training for all systems that you maintain to an expert level. As part of a dedicated support team consisting of a Service Coordinator, Senior Engineer, Service Manager and Contract Manager, you will work to provide an industry leading level of service for our clients. We invest heavy in apprentices so you will work with and support the development of the next generation of engineers.
About You
* At least 3 years' experience maintaining of HVAC Plant.
* Trend or Centraline and Tridium courses as a minimum would be beneficial for this role
* You will enjoy working as a part of a committed and dedicated team
* Willing to always learn
* Able to support and provide guidance as a mentor to junior staff members and apprentices
