I'm looking for an enthusiastic Geo-Environmental Engineer or Engineering Geologist who wants to take on an exciting new role working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Northampton.

Key skills/ qualification for this Geo-Environmental Engineering role:

Degree qualified in Geology, Civil Engineering or another relevant subject
Ability to read and interpret Geological Maps
Ability to write Phase 1 ground investigation reports
Knowledge of writing Coal Mine Risk Assessment reports
Willingness to work onsite digging trial pits and working with windowless sampling rigs
Sample taking and logging from bore hole cores
Knowledge of current Monitoring regulations is desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues
Full UK driving licenceKey duties of this Geo-Environmental Engineering role:

Assist with production of materials management plans, method statements, risk assessments
Working with site personnel to ensure projects are implemented safely
Direct / supervise site activities such as excavations, drilling, etc
Set up, operate and maintain soil and water treatment systems
Carrying out sampling, scheduling laboratory analysis and assessing results in compliance with the specification / strategy
Assisting with co-ordinating / appointing subcontractors
Ongoing liaison with clients' representatives or third party verification engineersCommutable Locations:
