Graduate/Junior Renewable Energy Engineer
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000
Location: office base at Wadebridge but various sites around the UK
Duration: Full time
We are searching for a self-motivated renewable energy engineer to join an existing team and assist with the installation of Photovoltaic systems, as well as operations and maintenance on numerous UK sites.
We design, install, and service Solar PV and Wind Turbine sustainable energy systems throughout the entirety of the United Kingdom. Our industry-leading in-house team of engineers, planners, and project managers provide a comprehensive 360-degree service that encompasses all aspects of the project development process and ensures we are always one step ahead.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has recently graduated as an engineer or someone who has finished college and currently works in roofing or construction but wishes to move to renewables. The renewable industry is the future and has endless opportunities with so much room to grow!
This position ideally requires expertise of photovoltaic (PV) systems (not necessary though) and the ability to work for certain periods of time across the country.

The role:
* Travelling to various locations across the UK - usually 1 week away / 1 week home
* Constructing Solar and Wind energy systems
* Maintaining Solar and Wind energy systems
Essential requirements:
* Experience in renewable energy, roofing or general building
* Outstanding communication and organisational skills
* Methodical, precise, and process-oriented approach to undertakings
* Flexibility to work around the United Kingdom, including evenings and weekends
* Valid driver's licence
Desired skills and qualifications:
* Previous solar PV instillation experience
* Working at heights
* MEWP 3a & 3b ticket
* CSCS card
* Manual handling
* Telehandler ticket Level 2 Health and Safety in the workplace
