Project Civil Engineer - Bristol
I have an exciting opportunity to work for an independent, multi-discipline consultancy with a great reputation across the UK.
They have 5 offices across the UK, with the Bristol office based in a very commutable part of Bristol. A 10 minute walk from Temple Meads train station, with free parking on-site. They are also on a major bus route.
In the Bristol civils team - there are 5 members of staff, from Associate to Graduate. You would come in at Project level with the aim to work towards Senior in the future.
Projects
They work on a 50/50 split between Residential and Commercial projects, so housing and commercial projects such as science labs and environmental parks. Due to having offices around the UK, you would be working on lots of local projects in Bristol and the South West.
The role
At Project level, you would have a mixture of detailed design, and learning more about the client liaison side of the role.
You would be working on:
Pre-planning
Drainage Design, SuDS
Flood Risk Assessments
Masterplanning
Working on Section Agreements 278,38 and 104
Software such as Civil3D, AutoCAD and WinDES
The ideal candidate would have 3+ years' experience working on relevant projects and working towards Chartership. They are able to help you push towards Chartership with the ICE.
Package:
Salary C. £28,000-£35,000
