Job DescriptionMott MacDonald Bentley is offering a great opportunity for a talented Graduate Civil Engineer with an interest in design and construction to join our growing teams. Working for Mott MacDonald Bentley, you will gain experience working on major water and wastewater schemes throughout all phases of the project from feasibility through to construction.

You will be predominantly based in our offices, and you will have involvement in live projects with the support of a large multidisciplinary design team. The role will provide you with opportunities to train, grow and progress in a direction that suits your own particular skillset and interests.

Responsibilities include:
Prepare outline and detailed civil engineering designs and calculations.
Produce technical and commercial specifications, drawings and schedules
Working closely and collaboratively with the construction team to develop efficient, practical and safe solutions throughout the design stages, into construction and beyond.
Preparation of documents, reports and health and safety risk assessments
You will positively engage with the Client, managing relationships and adopting a One-Team approach to support them in achieving their aims.
Candidate SpecificationWe are looking for a flexible and motivated graduate with a genuine passion for learning and professional growth.

. To apply for this role you will anticipate achieving a 2:1 or above in Civil Engineering (BEng) or a post graduate qualification (MSc) and must have a strong interest in the Water sector.

We are looking for a graduate with the following characteristics:
Methodical approach to problem solving.
Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail, and be able to demonstrate accurate technical drawings and good report writing

This role is employed by Mott MacDonald but will involve working across the joint venture business, both with Mott MacDonald and JN Bentley colleagues.
