First People Solutions is working with a successful engineering company in the Glasgow area who are looking for experienced Civil Design Engineers to join their growing Engineering Design team. Our client brings years of experience providing design, building and maintenance to key clients within the water sector across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide input on all aspects of civil projects, including concept design, design, implementation, and maintenance upgrades to waste and clean water projects
• Ensure documents, designs and drawings comply with design standards, industry best practice, and client expectations
• Assist in the communication with clients, regulators and other stakeholders, and preparation of bids and proposals
• Attendance at design meetings
• Work alongside engineering teams and associated consulting engineers

What we need from you:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 years of experience working within an engineering design environment
• Proven experience working on water & wastewater improvements, water treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Proficient with relevant design software
• Full clean driving license
