Geo-Environmental Engineer / Scientist
South East England /Home based
Our client is a successful remediation contractor who have an urgent requirement for a Geo-Environmental Engineer / Scientist based from home anywhere in the South East.
The role is to provide technical support to remediation contracting works, plus on occasions manage Phase II site investigations, and support commercial proposals.
The ideal applicant will have/be:
Broad geo-environmental/geotechnical and project management skills,
Background could be from an environmental consultancy or another remediation contracting firm.
Phase I/II geo-environmental assessments,
Comfortable working on site supervising contractors and also working with the team on remediation contract sites.
The majority of project sites are expected to be in the South East, with occasional contracts in the Midland and North.
Qualifications
Relevant earth based degree
You must hold a full driving licence
This is a friendly supportive company who all work predominantly from home. They work on a variety of projects/various clients such as: Housing developers / Oil clean ups / Soils and groundwater clean-ups.
This role would suit an engineer who enjoys working from home and is happy to cover the South East on site.
